Finally got to try this place! We have tried to get food here twice but the wait was 20-30mins around 5-6pm ish and that was too long of a wait with a toddler. So we finally ordered ahead of time and picked up the food. Chicken kabob, rice and chickpea side was perfect- toddler approved!
Yesterday, we stopped by a kebab place for dinner, and I was absolutely blown away. The food was just beyond words, everything was incredibly delicious. The rice, the meat, the salad and the bread.....oh my God, the freshly baked bread was simply amazing! Honestly, everyone needs to come and try it for themselves. And the atmosphere? It was quiet, peaceful, and welcoming, just perfect for fully enjoying such incredible food. Will definitely come back again! A huge thank you to the owners and staff for everything!!! Delicious food! We pick up food from here regularly and they are consistently good. Love the combos with chicken, beef kofka and lamb.
The food is amazing!! The best kabob in this area. They fully load your plate and we like that it offers two sides. They do not charge for additional sauce. This is our go to place for kabob.
Stay away from these two: Tandoori Chicken and Kubideh The rest is good. Tandoori chicken is not good as they make it very dry and it is always a bit sour, has to do with the way they marinate it, and Kubideh is not good at all. I really like their Chicken Kufta. Bread is always good sides are very good specially Aash.
My wife and I think that this may be the best kabob in the Herndon area. Darya has great service, fair prices and is the food is always cooked perfectly. We have tried the vegetable kabobs and the chicken kabobs. Both are perfectly seasoned and the chicken isn't over or under cooked. The naan is hot and fresh, the rice is flavorful and the chick peas complete a great (and filling) meal. My wife isn't a rice fan, so they always provide her with a fresh salad in place of the rice. If you don't feel like cooking tonight, roll on over to Darya for kebabs. You aren't going to regret it!
Darya is top 3 kabob places I've been to in NOVA. They are consistently flavorful and delicious. You can't go wrong with their chicken and beef or gyro combos. The chickpeas and hummus are my favorite. I do wish they had flavored naan like garlic. It would go well with the hummus but the naan is still good. They give a big portion with your meals. I've never had a bad experience here, but I usually get take out.
